Jury Selection
Nominees and winners of the Golden Screen Awards are up to the sole discretion of the jury, composed of film professionals, critics, and experts.
Eligibility
In order to qualify, films must be China-foreign co-productions approved by CFCC. They need to have had a wide release in Chinese theaters in the 12 months preceding the Golden Screen Awards. All films must have a running time of at least 90 minutes.
Deadline for Submission Application Form and Film
The application deadline is September 15, 2018.(Must receive acknowledgement of the application form).
Materials
Films must be provided in one of the following formats:
1 blu-ray disc + 1 standard DVD (if you send a blu-ray you must also send us a standard DVD of the film).
or
1 standard DVD
The application must also have a link for viewing the film online.
Above materials are required along with the online film submission. See ‘Register Your Film.’
Languages
The judges will accept films:
English subtitle – if the submitted film is Chinese or any other non-English language.
Dialogue, narration and commentary must have English subtitles
Shipping
Please mail the standard DVD or USB drive to the Golden Screen Awards organizer’s office in Los Angeles (see address below) and indicate on the package: Film Submission for Golden Screen Awards. Sender is responsible for the shipping fee.
Selected Films
Producers of nominated films will be notified before the awards ceremony.
