This year’s UCFTI Student Film Competition invites students from USC School of Cinematic Arts, UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television, NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Chapman University, California Institute of the Arts, and the American Film Institute Conservatory to submit original short films that show their talent in filmmaking for a grand prize of 5,000 dollars. In addition to monetary prizes, the UCFTI Film Competition allows aspiring filmmakers the opportunity to showcase their best work for top executives in both the U.S. and Chinese film industries at the UCFTI Expo.
